This National Park is part of SINAC (the National Areas of Conservation System), it’s located in the Central Pacific Coast of Costa Rica in the province of Puntarenas, Canton de Aguirre and is 7 kilometers east of the town of Quepos.
The park was created November 15th 1972 by legal decree No. 5100. The general topography is contains lots of hills with 20% inclination or more, altitude varies from 0 to 160 meters above sea level.
